This is one of eight new images created since the election (see all of them at my portfolio site). Up until that point, it was extremely hard to concentrate on anything but the polls and all the electoral college scenarios. Thankfully everything went as indicators predicted. I’ve got my fingers crossed that Barack Obama is as intelligent as he seems and as evidence seems to indicate, as the mess that’ll be left him has got to be the worst any president has inherited. Closing Guantanamo and renouncing the torture practices the outgoing gang put in place (through tortured denials and semantical obfuscations) are on his list and none too soon. Hard to believe how degenerated the U.S. has become. Amazing also how much emotion was on display on election night. I don’t remember anything like it.

Nice to see your new work and catch up on a few of your blog entries. Thanks for getting political on us. I can't believe the new "rules" that Bush is putting out to strap the next presidency with even more problems - strip mining off the top of mountains and then dumping it into the streams?
